September 11, 2006, 2:38 pm - Greenbelt Busking Fame
Well, somebody from the Church Times heard us busking at Greenbelt, and thought it was worth a mention!

"In general, for all the talk, it was music that oozed from Greenbelt’s pores: buskers at the grandstand (Laughter of the Crowd), folk singers in the bar, "psalm drummers" beating incessantly in a circle in the tented village. There were decent little indie bands (Stop! Thief!), eccentric, unsettling duos (Gamine), Christian acoustic acts who are breaking into radio (Note for a Child, Bodixa), and Welsh divas who sounded like a cross between Charlotte Church and Cerys Matthews (Lleuwen Steffan)."
Thanks to Mr. Phil Colvin for pointing that one out!
